Properties and Applications: Sulfur accelerator TBzTD is a white or light yellow powder, a safe secondary amine-based accelerator. It is mainly used to replace thiuram auxiliary TMTD, as the presence of nitrosamines is harmful. According to published literature, N-nitrosodibenzylamine is not carcinogenic. Compared with TMTD, TBzTD is safer in processing and has a longer scorch time.
